Most ADAS calibrations follow a repair that moved, removed or replaced a camera or sensor.
ADAS, or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, includes features like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. These systems rely on cameras and sensors that often need recalibration after a windshield replacement, bumper repair, or collision.
After a windshield replacement
The forward-facing ADAS camera mounts to the windshield, so new glass means the camera must be recalibrated.
After bumper or front-end repair
ADAS radar and parking sensors sit behind the bumper cover, and removing or replacing it can change their aim.

An impact or a change in alignment can affect how lane-keeping and emergency braking read the road.
